This dynamic improv workshop welcomes both first-timers and experienced improvisers who want to strengthen their skills, deepen their presence, and reconnect with joy.
Whether you’ve never done improv before or you’ve been performing for years, this class focuses on the foundations that make great scenes -and grounded humans.
Through fun, supportive improv games and exercises, you’ll learn how to:
build confidence and self-trust
quiet your inner critic
think on your feet without panic
listen more fully and respond authentically
make stronger, more connected scene choices
bring more ease, playfulness, and confidence onstage and off
Improv isn’t about being clever -it’s about listening, commitment, emotional truth, and trust.
When those skills strengthen, both your life and your performance improve.
This workshop blends personal growth with performance technique, offering tools you can use in everyday conversations and on the comedy club stage.
Skill-building without ego or pressure
A supportive environment that challenges you to grow
No pressure to be perfect -just an invitation to show up, take risks, and play fully.
"Improv helped me so much more than Toastmasters in feeling more comfortable getting in front of people and being seen because you have so many more opportunities to do small practices in a super supportive environment." J.S. Raleigh, NC
"Being a public speaker; interacting with difficult people; diffusing emotional situations; teaching classes; & finding more effective ways of relating on a one to one basis with clients...so many things that helped my career since I have taken improv classes with you."
J.B. Pittsboro, NC"Really helped my social anxiety!" A.A. Rapid City, S.Dakota
"Me and my husband took the workshop together. After learning “Yes, And” our relationship and communication really improved. It helped me have a new outlook on life and what I believe is possible in the world.”
Joanne Scharer, Salem, Oregon“I’m usually a timid person…but it was amazing to me how I was able to let go, have fun, and at the same time build my confidence!”
